Admissions
Independent schools run their own admissions. You register directly with the school, usually for a fee, and the school sets its own deadlines, assessments and offer dates, which are separate from the borough process.
Entry points, as published by the school
- Year 7 (11+)
All registered children attend an Academic Assessment Day in early December (maths, English, verbal and non-verbal reasoning), then all children are invited to an Interview and Activities Day in January with activities and two short interviews with teaching staff. Taster Days are offered in June, September and November; registration recommended by the beginning of October. Source
- Year 9 (13+)
