Deep Teaching sets only cookies that are strictly necessary to provide what you ask for. Because of that the law does not require us to ask for your consent, and we do not show a consent wall. We set no advertising, social-media or third-party analytics cookies.

Cookies we set

dt_adminSet only for the site operator when signing in to the admin pages.8 hours
old_… (for example old_deep_token)Set only if you open the archived copy of our previous site under /old. They do the same jobs as the cookies above for that archive and are never read by the current site.Up to 2 years

Browser storage

Two small values are kept in your browser's local storage and never sent to us: a note that you have dismissed the cookie message (dt_cookie_notice), and the schools you have picked to compare (dt_compare, at most four). The archived site under /old also keeps a child's date of birth there if you enter one on its compare page.

Measurement

We count which questionnaire screens are viewed using our own first-party counter, tied to the at_session identifier above. We also count page views without any cookie: no IP address is stored, and visits are grouped by a code that changes every day, so it cannot follow you from one day to the next. We keep these counts for 14 months. Nothing is shared with third parties.

Third parties

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts and, on the map and chart pages, code from public script libraries (unpkg, jsDelivr) and map images from OpenStreetMap. These requests reveal your IP address to those providers, as any web request does; they do not set cookies on this site.

Controlling cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block them, the questionnaire cannot keep your answers and you cannot stay signed in. More in our privacy notice.
